Our project is about automated offshore integrated aquaculture farms, where we grow fishes, mollusks and seaweeds together to reduce wastes to do an sustainable farming. by implementing this project we can reduce bycatch while fishing using trawling which reduce the availability of prey in marine ecosystems and productivity of fisheries. by starting this farms we can reduce the feed and waste produced by doing only an monoculture fish farm. This project will support the growing populations demand for sustainable protein and reduce overfishing and depleting the resource in the future ,by implementing automation and AI for feeding and monitoring the fish growth rate, behaviors, feed intake, diseases we can decrease loses. We can sell the fish for less price than wild caught fish, we can partner with the local fisherman, for collecting brood stocks and selling their wild caught one for an much higher price which will help reduce over fishing of the wild populating causing damages to sea floors and coral reefs. we can integrate the fish farm to an offshore wind turbine for power and building these structure will also serve as an habitat for sea creatures to thrive, this will create more job opportunities for short term in construction and long term in maintenance sectors.
