The humanitarian crisis globally has seen no end since the beginning of the civil age. War and economical crisis has been a major factor for displacement, homelessness and asylum seekers, especially in the recent decade. Although neighbouring countries try to provide aid, being able to provide shelter is not always easy and cheap. Shelter is a basic human essential and being able to provide shelter has always been a big challenge. The idea for this project is to create a “pop-up” home that could be deployed instantaneously with as little as 2 people for a single home unit, which will include a bed, table and chairs that will unfold as the unit unfolds. The project aims to provide not only shelter but a temporary home for people who are in need. Our aim is to produce a solution that will be quick, simple and cheap.
