THE SUSTAINABLE RIDE: UNVEILING THE POTENTIAL OF HYBRID MOTORBIKES. Global warming and Air pollution have become prominent issues over last decade. Worldwide research is oriented to obtain efficiency in utilizing Electrical Vehicles in order to replace conventional Internal Combustion Engine vehicles. This Research includes Pre-requisite data for building Electric Cars, Bikes, E-rickshaws, Scooters, etc., from scratch or conversion of ICE vehicles into E-vehicles and also highlights various important components of EV includes, including Power Electronics, Energy Storage methods, etc.
A detailed study on the conversion of existing vehicles of selected parts that are to be replaced and retrofitted. This work also includes the study of battery packs for required mileage along with the latest technology of Aluminum-Air Cells and Lithium-ion Cells. Optimization methods were used in order to reduce the weight of the vehicles and also improve performance characteristics.
